I absolutely adore A.J. in MAMD. Like, why can’t he be my heart? And why isn’t he in any other Starkid productions?
Also, this line always cracks me up…I think it’s the way he says it. “Initially!” lol
…Joe not as Joey’s dick? I just can’t see it. It would be so much different if Darren was his dick. I’m not saying it would be bad, just different.

This really shows the other side of Petunia and how damaging jealousy can be.
But it makes me think about what the alternatives could have been…
What if she hadn’t treated Harry so badly? How would he have turned out?
He probably would have been like Dudley—spoilt and awful. And he probably wouldn’t have fought against being a Slytherin.
I’m tempted to say he would be friends with Draco because Harry himself likened him to Dudley. But, realistically, Draco would never be friends with Harry Potter. Even if they were in the same house, he could never actually become friendly with the BWL, defeater of the Dark Lord (as much as we all like to pretend he could).
And how would the students of Slytherin—largely children of Death Eaters—as a whole take being housemates with Harry?
How would these changed circumstances have affected everything that happened to him?
They’re very interesting questions that I’m undoubtedly spending way too much time pondering…but I can’t help it. So much of Harry’s personality was formed because of his childhood. Without those experiences, he would be a totally different person.
I so wish I could write a research paper on this instead of the stupid sociology paper I should be writing…
